Bangladesh Marine Service Private Limited operates a professional commercial diving division providing class-approved underwater inspection, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, underwater welding and emergency salvage support at Chittagong, Mongla, Payra and all outer anchorages. Our divers are trained to IMCA and ADCI standards and equipped with modern surface-supplied breathing apparatus, high-definition video and full two-way voice communication systems.
In-Water Surveys (IWS) are conducted in lieu of drydocking with attendance of the appointed class surveyor, providing shipowners with significant cost and time savings while maintaining full class compliance. Every dive is recorded on video, indexed and delivered with a comprehensive report accepted by all major classification societies.

Class-Approved In-Water Surveys
IWS is a proven cost-saving alternative to drydocking. Our teams perform underwater surveys under attendance of Bureau Veritas, DNV, Lloyd's, ABS, NKK, KR, IRS and other class surveyors, providing HD video, real-time voice commentary and detailed reports that qualify for class endorsement.
Hull Cleaning & Propeller Polishing
Marine fouling can add up to 30% to fuel consumption. Our brush-kart cleaning restores hull hydrodynamics while grade-A propeller polishing improves propulsive efficiency — resulting in measurable fuel savings and reduced CO₂ emissions.
Underwater Welding & Structural Repair
Certified underwater welders execute wet welding and habitat/cofferdam welding for temporary and permanent structural repairs, including hull cracks, damage patches and doubler plates, all coordinated with attending class surveyors.
